Welcome to the 2026 FYI+ Las Cruces Pride Parade participant application!
Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2026 FYI+ Las Cruces Pride Parade. Together, we celebrate the strength, diversity, and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community while creating a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. The parade will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with the parade stepping off at 4:00 PM in Downtown Las Cruces. We invite nonprofits, businesses, schools, community organizations, faith groups, public agencies, and individuals to join us in showing their pride and support.

Pride Parade Participation Terms and Conditions
By registering to participate in the Pride Parade hosted by Families & Youth Innovations Plus (FYI+), you agree to the following:
1. Registration
All participants, organizations, businesses, and parade entries must complete the official registration process.
Registration is not complete until all required forms and applicable fees have been received.
Parade organizers reserve the right to approve or deny any entry.
2. Parade Rules
Participants must follow all instructions provided by parade staff, volunteers, law enforcement, and event officials.
Parade entries must remain in their assigned order and maintain a safe distance from other participants throughout the parade.
Throwing dangerous objects, driving recklessly, or engaging in unsafe behavior is strictly prohibited.
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and inclusive manner that aligns with the values of the event.
3. Floats and Vehicles
Drivers must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with all applicable traffic laws.
Floats, vehicles, and trailers must be in safe operating condition.
Riders must remain safely positioned on floats or inside vehicles while the parade is in motion unless otherwise directed.
No participant may jump on or off moving vehicles or floats.
4. Safety
Participants are responsible for the safety of everyone within their parade entry.
Children under 18 must be supervised by a parent, guardian, or designated adult.
Participants must immediately report any emergencies or safety concerns to parade officials.
5. Weather
The parade will take place rain or shine unless organizers determine that conditions present a safety risk.
Participants are responsible for preparing for weather conditions, including bringing water, sunscreen, and appropriate attire.
6. Photography and Media Release
By participating in the parade, you grant FYI+ permission to photograph, record, and use images or video of your participation for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes without additional compensation.
7. Assumption of Risk
Participation in the parade is voluntary.
Participants assume all risks associated with participating, including those related to walking, riding on floats, or operating vehicles.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless Families & Youth Innovations Plus (FYI+), its staff, volunteers, sponsors, and partners from liability for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
8. Event Changes
Parade organizers reserve the right to modify the route, schedule, lineup, or participation requirements as necessary for safety or operational reasons.
Organizers also reserve the right to remove any participant or entry that fails to comply with these terms or poses a safety concern.
9. Agreement
By submitting your registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and will comply with all parade rules and instructions.
